The concept, essence and characteristics of tourism! ! !

1. Tourism is a human behavior. According to the viewpoint of Marxist political economy, human beings are the main body of social reproduction, and human behavior belongs to all aspects of social reproduction, so human behavior can be divided into four categories: production behavior, distribution behavior, exchange behavior and consumption behavior.

The subject, object, subjectivity and objectivity of tourism are the four major elements of tourism. The behavior with four elements at the same time is tourism, otherwise it is not tourism, and it can only be called tourism. Meetings, business exchanges, scientific investigations, study tours and adventure activities without sightseeing purposes or behaviors should not be called tourism, but can only be called conference trips, business trips, scientific research trips, investigation trips, adventure trips and so on. At this point, we can give a basic and simple definition of tourism: tourism refers to the behavior of people who reach a certain age to appreciate the natural landscape or human landscape at a certain distance.

The essence of tourism is a spiritual and cultural activity.

2. Tourists, literally, are tourists, that is, people engaged in tourism activities. Write "tourists" in English. It means that a person travels out of curiosity. However, when counting the number of tourists, a difficult problem arises: who are the tourists? Who is not a tourist? For example, if a person leaves his place of residence for sightseeing in a different place and stays for more than 24 hours, this situation is regarded as a tourist, which seems beyond reproach; But another person left his unit or home, stayed in the city or countryside where he lived for a few hours, and returned to his place of residence that evening. Does this situation count as a tourist? According to our opinion, he is a tourist, but he is not recognized when the number of tourists is counted internationally.

3. Tourism resources: The so-called tourism resources refer to all things and factors that can attract tourists, stimulate tourists' travel motives, have certain tourism functions and values, can be exploited for tourism, and can produce economic, social and environmental benefits. Main connotation:

The essential attribute of tourism resources-attraction function;

The object of tourism resources-tourists;
