Reflections on the Cultural Tour of Lushan Mountain

Literati and loneliness are always inseparable. Even though there is a profound friendship between Li Bai and Du Fu, their time together is only a moment in their respective life journeys.

In my opinion, if the literati are exposed to too much noise between people, they will inevitably fall into the secular world, so they will stay away from mountains and rivers and philosophy, and there will be no good poetry articles.

It is because of loneliness that all literati have a yearning for their bosom friends. It is precisely because they spend less time with their confidants and more time away that the friendship between literati is indestructible.

Lushan Mountain was an ideal place to cultivate yearning, loneliness or literati in ancient times: the road was difficult and dangerous, with little contact with the outside world and beautiful scenery, which naturally attracted many literati. Because it transcends the secular, that is, loneliness transcends the secular.

Nowadays, Lushan Mountain is no longer a holy place for literati, but a tourist attraction, and the modernization project has broken ground in Lushan Mountain unscrupulously. It is easy to enter the mountain and comfortable to visit, so even if a group of real literati walk on Lushan Mountain, there is less loneliness and more noise.

Therefore, the literati had to give up themselves as tourists to mount Lushan.
