The blue dotted line in the figure shows the original route scheme of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity, and now the trend of Shanghai-Nanjing intercity is a revised new scheme.

1. Planning Qianwan Intercity Station of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, located at the intersection of Xingci No.8 Road and Binhai No.2 Road (east of Haipi Island Scenic Area and north of Automobile Institute).

2. Plan the intercity railway from Ningbo to Qianwan New Area, pass through high-speed railway station in Cixi to the north, and go west along Xingci No.1 Road to Binhai No.2 Road to reach the Sino-Italian Ecological Park. Along the way, stations will be set up at the Qianwan Intercity Station of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, east of the main entrance of the Wetland Park and west of the first phase of Fangte.

3. Hangzhou-Ningbo Intercity Railway enters Yuyao from Hangzhou via Shaoxing Binhai New City, enters Qianwan New District along Yao Bei Avenue-Zhongheng Line, passes through Simen Station, Zhouxiang Station, Gaoxin District Station, Cixi Station and Guanhaiwei Station along the way, and then goes south to Ningbo West Station via Cicheng.
