Introduction of Scenic Spots in Liangcheng Daihai Tourist Area

Daihai Lake, a famous lake outside the Great Wall, is located in Liangcheng County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total area of 260,000 mu and a total area of more than 25,000 mu of reeds outside the lake. Inner Mongolia Daihai Protection and Construction Development Co., Ltd. has invested nearly 400 million yuan to build a number of projects such as Daihai Hotel, Daihai Tourism Center, Daihai Hot Spring Bath City, Daihai Ski Resort, Daihai Cultural Park and Daihai Tourism School since it invested in the construction of Daihai Tourism Scenic Area in Liangcheng County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia. Around 130 square kilometers of Daihai Lake, a new Daihai scenic spot suitable for leisure and conference tourism has been formed.

Daihai is 10㎞ long from north to south and 35㎞ wide from east to west, with dozens of wild animals. It is a national forest park, with Foye Cavern, Jinshuiling and Wannian Ice House under the north peak, which is a good place for sightseeing. There are many scenic spots in Daihai tourist area. The reclining Buddha in Dongjinshan stands on the west side of Xianghui Temple site, with a serene and lifelike look, which is called "a must in nature" by Buddhist master Zhao Puchu. In the north of the Great Wall, there are 5,000-year-old Longshan culture, Hushan Shizhen site and Yuanzigou cave site, and there are also two Great Walls with a length of 100 km-the ancient Great Wall in Qin and Han Dynasties and the new Great Wall in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Daihai Hot Spring, also known as Mapo Spring, is located in Zhongshuitang Village, Sansumu Township near Daihai. It is famous because it is said that when Emperor Kangxi patrolled the border, his mount dug a spring here to quench his thirst. In the past, it has always been a place for lamas and nobles to bathe and recuperate. The daily water intake is 2732 tons, the water temperature is 38℃, and the water contains many trace elements beneficial to human body, which has a good effect on treating various skin diseases and rheumatic lumbago and leg pain.
