Why does the ear sometimes suddenly tinnitus?
I am a female, 19 years old, a sophomore in the next semester, with tinnitus for about 6 years. I am in poor health and often catch a cold. After I recovered from my cold in primary school, I found that my saliva was noisy. Out of inner panic, I went to many hospitals for medical treatment, and the final reasonable answer was that the eustachian tube was opened normally. So I went home happily. Not long after that, I found that there was a buzzing sound in my ears when I slept, which was delayed without timely treatment.
Six years ago, when I first had tinnitus, I was very scared. I have read a sentence "I will be deaf if I listen for a long time". There is no scientific basis for this view. ) I worry all day that if one day I suddenly become deaf, I have no mind to watch TV and I can't sleep because of the noise. When I was alone on the balcony, I hoped my mother would get off work early, and even thought about what I would do if I was deaf. Now that I think about it, I had a slight depression when I was a child, but I got better slowly. After that, I also got used to tinnitus accompanying me all my life.
Unfortunately, in February this year, my tinnitus got worse inexplicably, and there was a high-frequency "squeaking" sound. I'm completely devastated. Really. I started sending out distress signals, hoping that someone could enlighten me. But think about it, once or twice, people are patient, and many people will think you are melodramatic. Therefore, the purpose of writing this article today is: 1 I hope more people can understand the tinnitus community. 2. I hope that the compatriots with tinnitus will work together and learn to relieve themselves.
Because tinnitus worsened, I embarked on the road of seeking medical treatment. I went to a hospital in a top three province and hung up an expert's number. Fortunately, all the tests are normal; Unfortunately, because of the normal examination, I can't find the source of my tinnitus and can't carry out targeted treatment. I still don't want to give up I found a doctor who acupuncture tinnitus in a tertiary Chinese medicine hospital on a medical app. He told me that tinnitus was too long and it was useless to take Chinese medicine. As for acupuncture, I can only keep trying. Because I have to travel to and from two cities twice a week, I have to ask for leave. It's really troublesome and I have to give up.
Along the way, I have a longing for death in the endless darkness, but I know that my life is given by my parents, and I can't leave selfishly. Maybe you'll say I'm fragile. I'm really sorry. What I want to say is that if I never put myself in the pain of others, I will come to the conclusion in vain that others are not suffering, and the emotions I express are melodramatic actions again and again. Then I'm afraid he overestimated his ability to resist pain when facing the same disaster.
Now the summer vacation is about half a month away. A few days ago, I went to a hospital in Shanghai and found Director H. He said that the best way is to listen to music therapy. I'm listening. Tinnitus suddenly got better these days. I really appreciate it.
I joined two tinnitus groups. Almost most people with tinnitus have anxiety, and a few have severe depression. Therefore, many patients often go to otolaryngology+psychological counseling.
Here is a table of tinnitus degree: 1. Evaluation of tinnitus degree.
Grade 0-no tinnitus;
1 level-tinnitus loudness is very small, as if there is no;
Grade 2-Tinnitus is slightly loud, but it can definitely be heard. It only appears in a quiet environment and does not affect normal life (such as sleep) and work.
Grade 3-Tinnitus is loud and can be heard in general environment, but it has no obvious interference with normal life and work;
Grade 4-Tinnitus can be heard in any environment, affecting sleep, inattention and slightly interfering with work.
Grade 5-tinnitus is loud and noisy, which seriously affects sleep and work, and mild mental symptoms such as irritability, anxiety and depression begin to appear;
Grade 6 —— Tinnitus is extremely loud, which is equivalent to the loudest environmental sound that the patient has ever experienced (such as the sound when the plane takes off). They are troubled by tinnitus all day, unable to sleep, unable to work at all, and have obvious mental symptoms such as irritability, anxiety and depression.
This is my tinnitus test in April this year. It's really hard to bear, but you'll get used to it a little.
I want to say to my friends with tinnitus: No matter how sad ta is, please don't say that ta is not strong enough, let alone that ta is melodramatic! I hope you can give him some encouragement, which will be of great help to ta. Please don't equate tinnitus with gastroenteritis, pharyngitis and rhinitis. The mental pain caused by tinnitus is comparable to gastroenteritis, pharyngitis and rhinitis. People with tinnitus are depressed, but have you ever heard of people with gastroenteritis, pharyngitis and rhinitis? I have heard that too many tinnitus patients have suicidal thoughts, but then again, I have seen too many tinnitus patients adapt slowly.
I also want to say to my friends with tinnitus: seek medical treatment as soon as possible (go to a third-class hospital instead of a small hospital to delay the illness). Believe in yourself, listen to headphones less, stay up late less, get enough sleep is very important, listen to the doctor and keep a good attitude. If you really feel uncomfortable, you must go to psychological counseling in time. Keep more diaries, go out and take more photos. Come on, I've seen my grandmother with tinnitus for more than 30 years in the hospital, but when I think about it, if I reach her age, I'm afraid I'll have tinnitus for 40 years. Oh, if your friends don't understand you, you must never think that your friends are not good enough. To be honest, they can't feel your pain. What's more, everyone has unspeakable sufferings. You have to believe that it will be fine.
This is my tinnitus follow-up report in July.
Now I: sound therapy, drinking Chinese medicine (regulating stomach, Chinese medicine says spleen deficiency), and massaging ear points.
Let's talk about some conditions that may cause tinnitus: abnormal opening of eustachian tube, inflammation of eustachian tube, otitis media, eardrum invagination, head trauma, vascular tinnitus (the sound of tinnitus is the sound of blood vessels flowing, which can be alleviated or disappeared by pressing the neck).
Pay attention to whether there is a tumor in unilateral tinnitus.
Other dizziness may be Meniere and otolith.
There is also tinnitus caused by sudden deafness. Sudden deafness is not really total deafness, but sudden hearing loss. Normal hearing is between 10-20.
There is also a common tinnitus caused by cervical spondylosis.
But most of them are tinnitus of unknown cause. Please go to the specialist hospital for further examination and listen to the doctor.
