How to observe the weather while traveling
Observe the sky:
As the saying goes: "Clouds are the sign of the weather." If the clouds that appear in the west move from far to near, from small to large, from high to low, from thin to thick, then if cotton-like clouds appear in the sky, the weather is likely to deteriorate and develop into thunderstorms or windy and heavy rain days. When you see hook-shaped clouds shaped like "," moving from the sky, it means it will rain, which is the so-called "hook-shaped clouds and rain". Only then do fish-like clouds appear or the clouds thicken and intersect. At sunset, the sun's disc shows a rouge red color, which indicates that bad weather with wind and rain is about to occur. If it rains before 7 a.m., it may stop before 11 a.m.
On a cloudy and rainy day, seeing the clouds break in the northwest, commonly known as "open sky lock", indicates that the weather will get better. The top of Yungai Mountain is commonly known as "Mountain Daimao". Clouds wrapping around the mountainside are called "clouds blocking the waist". The former indicates cloudy and rainy weather, while the latter indicates sunny weather.
For example: "The morning glow does not go out, but the sunset glow travels thousands of miles"; "The sun rises in the east rainbow, and the rain falls in the west rainbow"; "Frost (dew, fog) can see sunny days again"; "People are yellow and sick, and the sky "Huang Youfeng"; "Thunder hits the horizon, and heavy rain continues; thunder hits the top of the sky, and the rain is not severe."
Looking at spiders:
On a sunny afternoon, if spiders build a large number of webs, it will rain in the next one or two days. If the net is strong, the wind and rain will be greater; if not, the wind and rain will be smaller. Weaving a net after rain means that the weather is about to clear up.
Look at earthworms:
If earthworms crawl out of the ground in spring and summer, heavy rains often come.
Fish watching:
In summer evenings, if there is a "diving" phenomenon of fish jumping out of the water in the fish pond, it indicates that thunderstorms are coming.
Frog watching:
Before the weather turns to rain, the skin of empty frogs is moist, and their calls are smaller and less frequent. When the storm comes, you can't even hear the frogs croaking. But on sunny days, the frogs croak loudly.
Look at the chickens and ducks:
If the chickens return to the nest early and enter the cage early the next day, it means that the weather will turn bad; on the contrary, it will be sunny the next day.
