1, Shuikuang Waterfall

Taining Dajin Lake is located in the center of Wuyi Uplift in Huaxia Ancient Land. During Cretaceous, two NE-trending fault zones developed in western Fujian. Taining red bed basin is one of many basins developed on the Chong 'an-Shicheng fault zone in the west. Taining County is the county with the largest landform area in Danxia, the southeast coastal province of China. The red bed basin covers an area of 2 15.2 square kilometers and consists of four small basins: Shangqingxi, Jinhu, Longwangyan and Baxianya.

The basement strata of Taining red bed basin are pre-Sinian metamorphic rocks, late Triassic to early Jurassic clastic rocks and late Jurassic to early Cretaceous continental volcanic rocks. The strata that constitute the red bed basin are Cretaceous red clastic rocks, including Shaxian Formation and Chong 'an Formation. Shaxian Formation has a thickness of 87m, and the lithology is mainly silty gravel with a thickness of1901m.. The hard Chong 'an Formation is the main landscape construction that forms Danxia landform. There are Yanshanian granites in the southwest of the basin and acidic volcanic rocks in the southeast.
