Ali River tourist attractions

The tourist attractions of the Ali River are: Gangrenboqi, Mabang Yongcuo, Namunani, Lhanag-tso Lake and Zada Tulin.

1. Gangrinboqi

Gangrinboqi, located in Pulan County, Ali region, Tibet, is a national-level scenic spot and one of the top ten most beautiful mountains in China. Gangrinboqi, also known as Xumi Mountain, is regarded as the center of the world by various sects such as Bonism and Hinduism.

2. Mapang Yongcuo

Mapang Yongcuo is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet. It is located in Hall Township, northeast of Pulan County, Ali region, about 26 kilometers southeast of Gangren Boqi. Mapang Yongcuo means eternal and unbeaten Jasper Lake in Tibetan, with an altitude of 4,588 meters and an area of 412 square kilometers.

3. Namunani

Namunani is the highest peak in the western part of the Himalayas, facing Gangrinboqi across Mabangyongcuo, and is known as the fifth goddess of the Himalayas. It is as high as 7694 meters above sea level. The six ridges of the main peak of Namunani are beautifully arranged in a fan shape, and a large number of glaciers are distributed in the ridges.

4. Lhanag-tso Lake

The Tibetan language of Lhanag-tso Lake means poisonous black lake, which is only separated from Mabang Yongcuo by a hill. Because Lhanag-tso Lake is a salty lake, there are few cattle, sheep and vegetation on the lakeside. In the eyes of local people, Lhanag-tso Lake and Mabang Yongcuo have become the representatives of light and darkness. Although Lhanag-tso Lake is a ghost lake, its scenery is no less than the sacred lake next to it.

5. Zada soil forest

Zada soil forest is located near Zada county in Ali region, which is a rare large-scale soil forest in the development and growth period in the world. Its scale of thousands of square kilometers is rare in the world. There are various special natural landscape forests such as stone forest, soil forest and ice tower forest distributed in China's vast territory, but in terms of spectacular scenery and huge momentum, none of them can surpass Zada soil forest.
