Daletongtun is a village inhabited by the Mulao people with the surname Wu. According to the investigation, the surname Wu in Daletong was originally from Changsha, Hunan. During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, he moved to Luocheng County and settled at Four Big Wushu, which were divided into five winters and three winters. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, a branch of the Wudong branch of Dawu Village moved to Daledong and settled there until now.

The ancient dwellings of the Mulao people in Daledong are one of the best-preserved ancient villages in Luocheng County and even Hechi City. The entire village is divided vertically into four parts by three lanes paved with stone slabs. A stone gate is built at the exit of each lane, which is the only way to enter and exit the village. There is only one left. The four parts of the village form a system of their own. Each system is composed of a branch of the Wu clan. Several rows of parallel buildings are connected from front to back. Each row of buildings consists of two connected buildings (the heads of households are brothers). There are gatehouses on the left and right sides leading to the lanes. The gatehouses connect the buildings in front and behind into a whole. The buildings at the front are all built with inverted seats, which are closely connected with the village gate. Several shooting holes (watch holes) are opened on the outward-facing facade walls of the village gate and the inverted seats. The buildings closest to the foot of the mountain are also connected by walls, making the entire village form a closed system. The four parts of the village each form a small closed system. The village gate and the gatehouses of each house are equipped with two layers of defense facilities. The inside is a thick wooden double-panel door with a built-in hidden pin in the door latch. The latch cannot be opened from the outside. The outside of the gatehouse is a thick fence, which is composed of several parallel Thick logs penetrate the stone threshold and lintel board up and down, and there are also dowels in the lintel to lock the fence. Such an architectural pattern makes the ancient village of Daledong form a complete and tight defense network, and the entire ancient village is like an impregnable castle.

The ancient residences in Daledong were built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Including the Wu Ancestral Hall, there are more than 60 ancient residences from the Qing Dynasty. Except for the Wu Ancestral Hall, which has a hard hilltop, the other single buildings of ancient residential buildings are all hanging hilltop buildings with small green tile roofs. The building as a whole has three entrances and three bays. There is a gable on the left called Sanliu Wall. It is mostly a structure of blue bricks on the outside and mud bricks on the inside. It is commonly known as "gold wrapped with silver". It has a good constant temperature effect and is warm in winter and cool in summer. Grass phoenixes are decorated under the eaves on the outside of the gable wall. The inner partition walls are two or four walls, which are made of mud bricks or blue bricks with staggered joints. There is an incense hall built on the back wall of the living room. On one side of the living room door, the ground is dug into the ground to make a furnace, and the fire is constantly burning all year round.

People describe the ancient houses of the Mulao people like this: "Walking on the stone road, watching the phoenix flying, the incense hall, the earth stove flourishing all year round, warm in winter and cool in summer."
