In fact, according to the forecast of Shanxi Meteorological Observatory, it is predicted that from August 4 to 7, the strongest rainfall weather process will occur in Shanxi Province, and some areas in Xinzhou, Lvliang, Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Changzhi and Linfen will exceed one hundred and fifty millimeters, accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation or thunderstorms and strong winds. Due to the possibility of heavy rainfall, Shanxi Meteorological Bureau decided to start a four-level emergency response to heavy rain. At the same time, Shanxi Provincial Emergency Office, Provincial Meteorological Observatory, Climate Center, Information Center, Detection Center, Service Center, Office Service Center, Early Warning Center and Xinzhou, Lvliang, Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Changzhi and Linfen Meteorological Bureaus immediately entered the four-level emergency response state, and other municipal bureaus immediately entered the emergency response state according to actual judgments. All emergency response units pay close attention to the weather, do a good job in response in strict accordance with the requirements of the meteorological disaster emergency plan of Shanxi Meteorological Bureau, upload the response to the emergency management platform in time, and pass the emergency office of the provincial bureau.

Is it suitable to travel in the face of heavy rainfall? Of course, if you don't travel, try not to travel. If you must travel, you must pay attention to the following points:

First of all, pedestrians should avoid dangerous areas such as landing billboards, transformers and telephone poles; At the same time, pedestrians should also stay away from the temporary enclosure on the construction site and the fence built on the hillside; Finally, don't rush to wading, be alert to manhole covers, sewers, sewage wells, etc. If you find a vortex on the road, you must bypass it.

Then for driving, before going out, you must first check the tightness of the engine cover and door, the condition of wiper and brake, and find the fault in time. At the same time, when driving, you must slow down and keep the distance between the front and rear cars. If the visibility is low in rainy days, you can turn on the anti-fog lights. It is worth noting that when the water on the road surface does not exceed half a wheel, ordinary vehicles can pass normally, but the speed must be slowed down, because the speed is too fast and it is easy to suck water into the air filter element, which leads to the engine's water intake and flameout.

Then, if you encounter disasters caused by heavy rainfall, such as floods and landslides, how should you deal with them?

First of all, if there is a flood, turn off the switch and move to the hillside and highland according to the predetermined route. At the same time, if it is surrounded by floods, it can be transferred by ships and door panels. If it is too late to move, climb the roof, big trees, high walls, etc. Avoid danger temporarily, wait for rescue, and don't swim and move by yourself. If you find that the high-voltage tower has fallen, you must stay away to prevent electric shock.

Then, if you encounter a landslide, you must run in the direction perpendicular to the rolling stone. If you can't continue to escape, you'd better hold a fixed object immediately. At the same time, you can also avoid under solid obstacles, pay attention to protect your head, or wrap your head with your own clothes.
