Amaniqing Snow Mountain

National Geopark with the Largest Glacier Area in China

Anima Qingxue Mountain spans Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan provinces, and its main peak Maqinggangri is located in Maqin County, Guoluo. It was built four years ago in the name of the National Geopark with the largest glacier area in China.

The main peak is 6282 meters, and the surrounding 17 peak, which is more than 5000 meters above sea level, looks like a glittering and translucent jade column from a distance, which is as clean as jade and very spectacular.

Banma Tibetan towers

800 years of history

In banma county, Guoluo, there is a group of Tibetan watchtowers built by Tibetan masons for more than 800 years, which is one of the best preserved Tibetan watchtowers in China.

The outer wall of Tibet watchtower is covered with cow dung. The purpose of this is to dry cow dung as soon as possible. Cow dung is still the main fuel in the local area.

The walls are covered with moss and the pillars are still strong. Among the mountains in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, historic Tibetan pagodas have experienced vicissitudes.
