How to prevent moisture in wet weather?

When the humid air comes, don't forget to close the windows, especially those facing south and southeast. Every morning and evening is the most important period of moisturizing. The air humidity during these two periods is higher than that at noon, so be sure to close the doors and windows at this time. If you are worried that the indoor air will not circulate when the doors and windows are closed, you can open the doors and windows at noon and when you go downstairs.

Turn on the air conditioner to dehumidify.

Use air conditioning dehumidification gear or refrigeration gear to dehumidify the room, but if the moisture regain is too strong, it is recommended to use dehumidifier for better effect. Remember to close the doors and windows when you turn on the air conditioner to dehumidify.

Use detergent

The function of cleaning agent is not only to clean, but also to form a protective film on the surface to prevent water from infiltrating into the interior of wooden furniture to some extent.

Dehumidify with desiccant

As long as the desiccant is placed reasonably, good moisture-proof effect can be obtained. The most common desiccants are hygroscopic boxes and humidity-regulating carbon bags. Moisture absorption boxes are generally placed in closeted small spaces such as wardrobes, shoe cabinets and kitchens. Humidity-adjusting carbon bags can be placed in corners, under beds and other places according to capacity.

Clean furniture

For some wooden furniture, in order to prevent moisture, we can take detergent measures.

External drying

Use some absorbent paper or some fabric furniture at home. If there is moisture, it can only be dried outside. You can turn on the heater and blow against the fabric furniture for about half an hour, or you can use a hair dryer, so that the moisture of the fabric furniture can be alleviated. Sticking plastic paper on the surface of wooden furniture is also a good moisture-proof method.
