Appreciation of the cool weather in Yi Di Jing·Thin quilt and small pillow

This song "Remembering the Imperial Capital" is one of Liu Yong's series of lyrics about parting and lovesickness. This poem purely uses oral line drawing to express the inner feelings of both men and women, and the artistic expression technique is novel and unique. It is one of Liu Yong's more distinctive works of the same type.

The beginning of the sentence is about the weather getting cooler in early autumn. "Thin quilt" refers to the fact that although the weather is cool, it is not cold yet; judging from the "little pillow", the person in the poem is still sleeping alone in the quilt at this time, so he "suddenly feels the feeling of separation." "Sudden awakening" refers to the first awakening or just awakening, which causes waves of emotions due to being touched by something. Next, the author gave a detailed description of the "feeling of parting": "It's been cold for several days, and I still fall asleep when I wake up." The empty bed is lying around, and I can't sleep at night; I hope to fall asleep because I may be able to relieve my worries in my dreams. I silently counted the next update, but still couldn't fall asleep. After getting up, I lay down again.

With just a few strokes, the lovesick person's bedside is moving around, falling asleep and waking up, not knowing what to do, and expresses the situation without concealment. "After all, I can't sleep" is a supplement to the meaning of the first two sentences. The word "after all" means finally, in the end, no matter what. Then the sentence "One night grows like a year" cleverly uses the meaning of the sentence "One day's absence makes one feel three years old" in "Shi Jing·Wang Feng·Cai Ge", but the sentence is more concise and the emotion is deeper. These few sentences reveal the "taste of separation" as if it were commonplace. The simple and unpretentious words contain a blazing passion for life.

The second part of the poem turns to the wanderer's longing for home, which expresses the complicated inner experience of the conflict between the wanderer's reason and emotion. "I was about to wait, but I returned to the bridle." From this point, we can know that this man who couldn't sleep on a thin quilt and a small pillow had not been away from the one he loved for a long time. Maybe they broke up in the morning, and he was suffering from the "feeling of separation". At this moment, when it was difficult for him to let go of his feelings no matter what, another thought came to his mind: Alas, it would be better to turn around and go back. "I'm going to wait", this is the psychological activity after all kinds of helplessness. However, "but again, the plan has been made" means that once we have embarked on the journey, how can we return to the same place? Returning but not being able to return, going but unwilling to go, the result is that we still have to "think about it in many ways and find solutions in many ways", but of course we can't find a way out, so we can only live in "loneliness and boredom" and live in boredom. The last two sentences, "My whole life is my heart, and I will bear your tears" contain such deep feelings: I will never forget you for the rest of my life, but it seems that things can only be like this, and should only be like this. Even so, it is If we still can't meet each other, then we must be "laughing your tears". This sentence perfectly sums up the meaning of the whole word of missing each other, and highlights the theme of caring for others with "I" as the center.

This poem is "delicate and precise" (Liu Xizai's "Art Introduction"). It is purely spoken, fluent and natural, and expresses the true love between the lyrical protagonists euphemistically and tortuously. It is relatively mature in thought and art.
