Moscow travel guide for January and July

In July, I don’t have to go to Russia. The embassy informed me that it is temporarily unclear about the epidemic situation in Russia. In the short term (2 months) I won't be able to open my visa. I need to wait for notification from the embassy!

2. Moscow travel guide

Introducing the Russian travel guide.

First of all, let me tell you a few points to pay attention to. Keep this in mind wherever you go.

First of all, no matter where you are, keep yourself safe. Compared to foreign countries where you are not familiar with people, it is best not to go alone. Then there is the issue of the security of money and documents. You must keep your passport well, otherwise it will be very troublesome. In addition, you can bring some commonly used medicines to avoid the trouble caused by acclimatization. It's best to book a hotel in advance.

The prime time to go to Russia is from June to September every year. It will basically start to get a little cold in September, and the weather in Russia can also change suddenly. Remember to bring an umbrella and a windbreaker. When you go there, you can check the weather conditions at your destination a few days in advance to avoid the inconvenience of bringing too many clothes and too little.

For foreign currency exchange, you can exchange it at home. There are many exchange channels in Eros. However, the exchange rate will be different in some places, so be sure to ask in advance. Of course, it is best to bring a bank card or credit card, which is safe and convenient. Another very important point is the issue of mobile phone cards. Be sure to handle relevant business before going, otherwise it will be very troublesome.

Several must-see attractions in Russia: Red Square in Moscow, Cathedral of Christ the Savior in St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Bookstore, Irkutsk Winter Palace, Birch Forest and Gabel Lake. Of course, Eros has a vast territory, so you should try to choose according to your own arrangements.

Now that you have arrived on Eros, you must go to the local pub to drink a glass of vodka, feel the atmosphere of Russia, and feel the wildness of the fighting nation.

Of course, if you go in September, try to go before mid-September, because it will get cold after that. Be sure to check the local weather conditions before going to avoid inconvenience caused by the weather.

It is an irregular rectangle, and the ground is entirely paved with ancient stones.

5. Moscow tourist attractions Ctrip

Price in Russia is generally more expensive than in China. I personally think accommodation is the biggest expense on my trip to Russia. Xiao Ma has been traveling in Russia for almost 15 days and has been to Moscow, Crimea, and the North Caucasus. Below, I will make an analysis and recommendation based on the accommodation experience, booking status, and price of these places.

Analysis of hotel accommodation experience in Moscow;

Booking difficulty index: one star

After all, this is the capital, with many large and small hotels, plus B&Bs and youth Hostel. So booking tickets is easy, whether online or offline.

Accommodation prices and conditions:

Accommodation in Moscow is not cheap. Xiao Ma has stayed in youth hostels and B&Bs here. The youth hostel is near the airport and far from the city. At 120 yuan per bed, it is the most expensive youth hostel Xiaoma has ever stayed in. Later, because I had an appointment with other travelers, I planned to stay with Bb. Compared with B&b, the cost-effectiveness of B&b is much higher. It is located next to the city center subway station, and you can take the subway to any attraction. The price is 400 yuan a night. Four people can stay in two rooms. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. Compared to the 120 yuan youth hostel, the price/performance ratio is far superior.

Therefore, Xiao Ma personally recommends that you try to book a B&B.

I like B&Bs in Moscow. They have kitchens where you can cook some porridge and order some food.

Xiao Ma’s recommended booking channels:

If you are used to domestic software, you can look for Ctrip, Qunar and Fliggy. Of course, Xiao Ma personally recommends more information about booking and agoda. If you want to stay in a B&B, Airbnb is great.

Tips:

Of course, there is a disadvantage; the cleanliness of the house will be much worse than that of a hotel, so if you have mysophobia, try to stay in a hotel.

Sevastopol and Yalta (Crimea):

Booking difficulty index: three stars

These two tourist cities in Crimea It is not well-known in China, and the particularity here makes it difficult to book hotels here. At first, Xiaoma couldn't find hotels in these two cities online. The prompt was as shown below.

But then I found out that if I go on a business trip, there are a lot of hotels, so it's a little secret.

Accommodation prices and conditions:

Hotel prices in Yalta and Sevastopol are not cheap either, and the overall price is similar to that in Shanghai, China. Generally speaking, it costs between 350-500 yuan per night, and the conditions are similar to those of Hanting and Homeinns in China. The room in the picture below is the hotel where Xiaoma stayed in Yalta. The cost is 450 yuan per night and can accommodate two people. Overall, it cleans, drinks packs, coffee, black tea, green tea, etc. Will be given away. The front desk staff is very attentive.

Xiao Ma’s recommended booking channels:

Where will domestic software go? Generally, there are basically no houses in these two cities, such as Ctrip Fliggy, etc. Personally, I also recommend foreign software such as booking and agoda. Also, remember to check my travel tag or I might Idon’t find a house.

Tips:

Since Sevastopol and Yalta are both seaside cities, if you want a better experience, you may want to consider a sea view room, which will be more expensive. There is also a very special seaside resort hotel in Yalta. If you plan to get it here for 3-5 days, you can order it by mail in advance. The other two places do not support online payment, UnionPay cards and credit cards, so please bring enough rubles.

Analysis of hotel accommodation experience in the North Caucasus:

Booking difficulty index: four stars, especially Makhachkala.

It is obviously more troublesome to book in the North Caucasus than in Crimea, especially in Makhachkala, where I ordered it by mail. Reservations can be made in other places such as North Ossetia, Chechnya, and Derbent. However, online payment or offline credit card payment can basically be made here, and many areas also accept UnionPay cards, so it is still very convenient.

Accommodation prices and conditions:

The prices in these places are not too cheap, especially Mahachikara, where accommodation is the most expensive. I booked a suite with two bedrooms and a living room for four people. The price per night is 1,400 yuan, which is about 350 yuan per person. Fortunately, the facilities of the hotel are pretty good, clean and large, and all kinds of drinks and snacks are given free of charge. The breakfast is also very rich, at least you won't go hungry.

The above is the 1,400 yuan suite booked by Mahachikara. The overall layout is relatively simple.

The above is a double room booked in Chechnya for 350 yuan, and a lot of drink packages were given. The price/performance ratio is relatively high.

The picture above is a sea view room in Delpente, priced at 400 yuan, which is the most cost-effective during this trip to Russia.

The picture above is of a B&B in the mountains of North Ossetia. Its style is a wooden house with two bedrooms, one living room and one kitchen. The price is 600 yuan.

Tips:

It can be said that although the North Caucasus is not well-known and there are not many tourists, it can still be booked online, which is more convenient than Crimea. In addition, the hotel's price/performance ratio is much higher than that in Crimea, except for Mahachikara. In addition, there is not much to see in Makhachkala, so I personally would not recommend staying here. If you want to save money, just go to Debent.

Personal summary of accommodation in Russia:

01. Approximate selection type budget:

Hotel 250-500 yuan/person, B&B 200-500 yuan/person, youth Travel 100-120 yuan/person (budget travel mode, luxury travel prices are basically doubled)

02. Choose the platform

Hotel booking: Ctrip, Fliggy, Qunar (number of hotels Very few); reservation (there are many hotels, try to choose the one with more reviews)

Book at Bamp; b: Airbnb (the originator of Bamp; b. There are many special houses, and you can also Get cash coupons instantly)

Please remember to book in advance, especially for hotels in Crimea!

03. Choose a location

In this pony’s itinerary, except for Moscow, the other cities are very small, so you don’t have to think too much about the choice of location. Basically, it's good to live in a place with concentrated tourist attractions.

For example, Chechnya can be located next to the heart of Chechnya, Derbent can be located next to the Old City, and Yalta and Sevastopol can be located by the sea.

4. The particularity of Russian residences

Generally speaking, check-out of Russian hotels is at 11 o'clock. The clock is still 12 o'clock, which is a little earlier than in China, so you need to know in advance. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is later than that provided in China, usually starting at 8 a.m.

The beds provided by Russian hotels are very narrow, which makes me very puzzled. Allen t, foreigner, remind me more? Other hotels say double rooms, but they only have one bed. The mystery is that the hotel's queen bed can be split into a double room. For example, the two mattresses in the picture below can be separated.

The above is Xiao Ma’s personal experience and sharing about Russian hotel prices, reservations and precautions. Hope it helps on your journey.

: June 14 to July 15, 2010 - 1010 is the Russian World Cup schedule.
