There is no power failure. Mianyang, also known as "China Science and Technology City", is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, located in the northwest of Sichuan Basin. On August 29, 2022, due to extreme weather changes, drought and lack of rain, electricity consumption soared, causing a large-scale power outage in the urban area. Power supply was restored on September 20, 2022, and there was no power outage in Mianyang on September 4, 2022.
