What was the battle of Zhuolu Hanquan in ancient times?
According to legend, in ancient China, the Yellow Emperor and Yan Emperor fought a large-scale war with the Chiyou Jiuli people. About four or five thousand years ago, during the patriarchal society in China, it was said that the Huangdi and Yan Di nationalities, which rose in today's Guanzhong Plain and Southwest Shanxi, merged and developed along the north bank of the Yellow River to the west of Dapingyuan in North China today, while the Chiyou Jiuli nationality, which rose in today's Hebei-Shandong-Henan border region, developed from east to west. The two tribal alliances fought for a long time in Zhuolu (muddy land, the vast Yuan Ye between Taihang Mountain and Taishan Mountain today, full of ancient rivers and muddy water) for the area suitable for grazing, hunting and shallow farming. Chiyou people are brave and good at reaching the corner. They joined forces with the giant Kuafu tribe and Sanmiao tribe to expel Emperor Yan first, and then took advantage of the situation to enter Zhuolu (in today's Hebei Province) and attack the Yellow Emperor tribe. Legend has it that Chiyou led his 72nd clan (or 8 1 clan) and besieged the Huangdi clan with dense fog. The Huangdi clan is composed of bears, scorpions, wolves, leopards and totem clans, such as tigers, which are invincible in several battles. Later, with the help of Xuan Nvxia, she blew the horn and played the real drum. When the Chiyou people were confused and shocked, they broke through the dense fog and defeated Chiyou, and were finally captured and killed in the wild in Jizhou (now Hebei). Huangdi, the leader of the tribal alliance who won the war, became the same clan of the Chinese nation. Emperor Yan is one of the greatest leaders of the Chinese nation. His ancestral temple is in Weihe Park, Weibin District, Baoji, Shaanxi.
Battle of Hanquan:
The Battle of Hanquan is another major battle after the Yellow Emperor defeated Chiyou and other Jiuli people to quell the rebellion. The battle of Hanquan broke out because of the power struggle between the emperor and the queen in the Xiong Group. This war, in a historical sense, completely ended the dual leadership system of emperor and post-emperor formed by the war at the end of primitive society. In this war, the Yellow Emperor became the favorite son of heaven of all tribes after "winning his ambition after three wars", while Yan Di was impressed by the defeat and was willing to submit, and vowed not to compete with the Yellow Emperor again. Therefore, the Battle of Hanquan is a change from the dual-headed leadership system in the tribal kingdom to the unitary leadership system in the civilized era, and it is an epoch-making historical change in the political system.
