The beautiful scenery of Shucun
Birds are singing in the empty mountains, mountains and winds are blowing clouds, mountains and rivers are companions, and clothes are fluttering.
Flowing clouds and flowing water, the rain is flying, and Ying Ying is full of smoke. Coming from the sea, it is blooming, attacking clouds and stepping on fog, scooping water and splashing the moon, clearing the heart and cleaning the dust. Singing songs in the waves, like surging waves, washes away the dirt in the heart and trivial troubles.
Who is it in the empty night? Striking the strings in the moonlight, like the wind singing, like the water whispering. At the touch of a finger, Silver and a bright moon fell into the sea, like beads falling from a plate, crisp and elegant. The water of the moon is in the heart of the moon, and the feelings in the heart condense into melodious sounds and turn into meteors in the air. A faint heart, a faint feeling, as if in a dream.
As the sun sets, the sea is singing, and the mood is accompanied. Put the faint feelings into the mountains and rivers, be friends with the water, be friends with the clouds, fall in love with the forest and become attached to the water. In the poetic realm, watching the clouds rolling in the sky and the waves rolling on the sea is like enjoying a Zen song of clouds and water. Warm and crisp songs slowly flow through every vein of life. Under the kiss of the wet and sticky sea breeze, the blood vessels will become soft and slack, and those scars will heal inadvertently, in exchange for a happy heart and enjoy the beauty of crossing the river. Mazu, also known as Tian Fei, Tianhou, Notre Dame and Tianmu, is a god believed by boatmen, sailors, travelers, businessmen and fishermen in past dynasties.
Mazu is a descendant of Jiumulin, a famous family in Putian.
Because she never cried from birth to the second month, she was named Moline, and her parents also called her Moline Niang.
Maureen grew up by the sea. She also knows astronomy and meteorology, and is familiar with water. There are many reefs in the strait between Meizhou Island and the mainland. Fishing boats and merchant ships wrecked in this sea area are often rescued by Maureen, so people say that she can "sit on the ground and cross the sea". She can also predict the weather changes and inform the boatman in advance whether she can sail, so it is said that she can "predict the strange" and call her "goddess" and "dragon lady"
Mazu spent his life in the sea, helping the poor and saving many fishing boats and merchant ships in the stormy waves; She resolutely refused to marry compassion and devoted herself to doing good and saving the world. According to historical records, the Northern Song Dynasty, the Southern Song Dynasty, the Yuan Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty praised Mazu many times, and titles ranging from "Madame", "Tian Fei", "Tianhou" to "Tiannv" were listed in the national memorial ceremony.
Meizhou Island in Putian, Fujian Province is the hometown of Mazu, the goddess of maritime peace, and the birthplace of Mazu culture.
Mazu, as a descendant of Putian people, although we are no longer Putian people, we can still worship Mazu's palace temple and name it "Xiangu Temple".
There is a straight asphalt road at the intersection of Shaba. Only through this 13 km jungle can you see a large archway more than five meters high and ten meters wide, with the words "Shucun" engraved on it. It is different from other archways with pure stone structure: "stone pillars, Liang Shi, tile roofs, wooden cornices and porcelain inlays", because in the structure of archways, there are red brick walls and red tile roofs on Liang Shi, and the main color is red. The roof is covered with red tiles. At the top is the "Shuanglong roasted seeds and nuts treasure" decorated with the traditional craft of "embedding porcelain". The technique used at the ridge end of the roof is called "rolling grass" and its shape is also very special. The dragon is a "real dragon", and the traditional skill of "inlaying porcelain" has been fully reflected in this archway. There are a pair of stone lions at the foot of Shucun archway. The stone lion at the door is a symbol of nobility and inviolability. As early as ancient times, Shishi has become the patron saint of home in Chinese civilization and even in the world civilization.
When the big archway and the stone lion stand at the gate of Shucun, Shucun, a descendant group of Fujian, will certainly glow with more dazzling brilliance. Floating color parade
Floating color parade is a major feature of Shucun Dragon Boat Festival, and it is also the highlight of the day. In the morning 10, the sound of gongs and drums, firecrackers and villagers' shouts suddenly sounded, and the whole book village was boiling. Four teams set out in front of the temples in the east, south, west and middle directions, and gathered in front of the primary school in the village with gongs and drums.
In Shucun, there are five temples in the southeast and northwest, which are said to be dedicated to "a mother and her four sons". On the mountainside of Hume in the north of Jucun, there is the "Mother" Xiangu Temple, and the four temples in the village, namely the King of Heaven, the Second King of Heaven, the Three Kings of Heaven and the Four Tianwang Temple, are dedicated to four sons in turn. On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, the four temples of Wang, Er Wang, San Wang and Si Wang were divided into four societies according to their locations. Villagers in all societies, regardless of surnames, clans, men, women and children, formed their own parades and made their own floats.
At the beginning of the parade, a spectacular parade with a length of 1.5 km was pulled out on the main street of the village. The sonorous sound of gongs and drums, melodious octaves, mighty lion awakening, majestic golden dragon and silver dragon, pious boy Guanyin, charming big head Buddha, lifelike birds and shrimps, spectacular banners and solemn umbrellas are dazzling and colorful. Everywhere the parade went, every household, men, women and children, put down their work, curled up under the eaves in front of the door, looked at the fluttering colorful flags happily, and presented a string of firecrackers from time to time.
On that day, the dragon boat water was dripping all the time. We followed the drifting team and walked happily in the rain for more than two hours. We walked more than 5 kilometers, covered in rain and sweat but unaware of it.
Saibodhisattva
As the saying goes, the Dragon Boat Festival is not a festival without dragon boat races. But in Shucun, they don't race dragon boats and bodhisattvas. Bodhisattva race is the most traditional folk activity in Shucun. The local villagers call it "Walking Bodhisattva", which means Bodhisattva, and "Walking Bodhisattva" means running with Bodhisattva. It is said that this activity originated from the ancients who did not forget to run with Bodhisattva when they took refuge.
The team consists of various clubs. Generally, the number of participants in each team is about 20 to 30, which is divided into two groups: men and women. Players are all powerful young people, giving priority to young people studying abroad to show respect for knowledge. The starting point of the competition route is the carp mouth at the foot of the ridge in the south of the village, and the end point is The Fairy Temple Square in Hume Mountain in the north of the village. The race is about three kilometers. Athletes of each team hold the Bodhisattva relay race, each running 100 meters, and the first one who arrives at Xiangu Temple wins.
At noon that day, the villagers who watched the floating color parade came to see Sai Bodhisattva in high spirits. At noon 1 or so, the game begins. The athletes of each team held bodhisattvas in their hands and ran relay after relay, and the laughter and laughter of the onlookers on both sides came and went. After the athletes ran past, the audience who had just lined up rushed over like a flood without a dike, followed the athletes and shouted and laughed all the way to Xiangu Temple Square to watch the final result of the game.
Although the Bodhisattva race lasted only a few minutes, the scene was spectacular and warm. As long as you are there, you will feel excited and excited. It is said that both Sai Bodhisattva and Guan Sai Bodhisattva can pray for exorcism. No wonder the villagers in Shucun are so enthusiastic about the Bodhisattva Race.
After the Bodhisattva Competition, the villagers held a tense and enthusiastic tug-of-war in Xiangu Temple Square.
Wife-cheating competition
It's dusk. It's time to go home and make a fire for dinner. But the villagers who watched the tug-of-war did not go home. They flocked to Moon Bay, not far from the village. On the beach of Moon Bay, villagers crowded around a 50-meter-long and 20-meter-wide open space, where the annual Shucun tug-of-war wife contest was being held.
Each of the four clubs sent a carefully selected team to join hands in a fierce tug-of-war.
As mentioned above, each of the four clubs sent three young and strong couples to participate in the competition. There are three kinds of competitions: husband carrying his wife, wife carrying her husband, and husband and wife carrying each other. In each round of competition, the contestants have to carry their wives or husbands for a 50-meter round trip on the beach. It's not easy to run on the soft beach, let alone carry a big living person. It is conceivable that there will be many unexpected and very interesting scenes in the game.
At the beginning of the game, the field was filled with cheers. In the first round of cheating, a pair of players in white clothes just walked a few steps when they lost their balance and fell down. They got up within a few steps, and both of them rolled all over the floor. When they ran back, they fell on the beach again, covered in sand. Stumbling, the couple has pulled a long distance away from other players, and there is no hope of winning the first place, but they have not given up the game and insisted on running back to the finish line. The audience applauded the couple for a long time.
Night arrival, the game is coming to an end-
In the evening, a stage was set up in front of Xishe, and the whole village gathered in front of the stage, waiting for the host to give awards to the heads of the clubs. No matter who wins or loses, the leaders thank them in the simplest way, causing a burst of applause from the audience! The Dragon Boat Festival in Shucun is both lively and special. Only when you are there, can you appreciate its charm like aged rice wine and romantic love letters.
Shucun culture has rich red soil culture and unique folk customs, so I won't list them here. Shucun has developed from a small fishing village with dozens of people to a big village with 20,000 people. Its development will be bright in the future.
Shucun culture is a small branch of Minnan culture, and Minnan people are a huge isomorphism of Han nationality in China, with a long history and a large number of people. I should be very proud, because Minnan people are distributed all over the world, and there is probably a Minnan language similar to mine in every corner of the world.
