"Ready to move" meets Amao

Amao was my classmate in college. Because one is in southern Fujian and the other is in northern Fujian. To be honest, we usually have little contact with them. For decades, apart from class assemblies, it has been an extremely luxurious thing for classmates to meet and chat.

By chance, I saw Xiaoni announcing in the class that Amao was coming to Quanzhou for a meeting. The purpose of Xiao Ni's announcement is to take this opportunity to mobilize classmates living in the surrounding areas of Quanzhou to come and gather together to talk about their friendship and reminisce about the past of youth. Because everyone is busy with their own affairs, even if they live in the same Quanzhou area, it is not easy for classmates to get together because they live scatteredly. Everyone is very busy, and the time and place are difficult to decide.

A talented female classmate in the class group spoke up and said that the students nearby were "ready to make a move". She deliberately used humorous words to tease and make the group laugh, "amuse" and "liven up". Maybe the language was too vivid, maybe it touched the hearts of the students, so most of the nearby students chose to "dive" and remained silent.

Silly, like a crawler. Reptiles move forward by crawling, and moving is difficult and slow. The word "ready to move" comes from the book "Yiyuan", which tells many strange stories, mostly strange animals.

Volume 1 of "Yiyuan" tells a story: It is said that in the eighth year of Chiwu (AD 245), Sun Quan of the Eastern Wu Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms, sent school captain Chen Xun to dig a canal in Jurong, and unearthed a "black object" "It has no head or tail, and is shaped like a small boat of hundreds of buckets, dozens of feet long, and moves clumsily.

Volume 3 of "Yiyuan" also tells another story: In Yixizhong of the Jin Dynasty, there was an old lady doing wine business in Jiangling. She saw a foreign object bulging under the floor of the room, and sooner or later Pour wine on the raised ground. After the old lady passed away, the neighbor seemed to hear crying under the old lady's bedroom, so he dug up the floor and found something moving around, commonly known as an earth dragon.

To review the past and learn something new, I checked the idiom dictionary and flipped through the book. I felt that the word "ready to move" was used to describe the mood of the classmates nearby. It was rough but rational but not rough, and there was indeed some similarity. Small party, do you want to go? Do you have time to go? Is there a desire or attraction that makes you have to go? Is there any way to go? Is it possible? From the bottom of my heart, I wanted to make a move, so I was teased as "getting ready to make a move."

So, as soon as I put the book away, I contacted Sister Fang and classmate Liu who lived in the county town respectively. Their reply was "I can't decide yet", which is called "God's reply" in fashionable terms. . They are two classmates who currently either don’t have a car or don’t have a certificate. The distance of dozens of kilometers does pose practical difficulties.

Near six o'clock in the evening, classmate Liu called and said, "It's raining so hard, what should I do?" I said, "Look at the weather forecast. As long as it doesn't rain heavily, it doesn't matter. Just go!"

From the countryside to the county town, I picked up Sister Fang at the first stop. Sister Fang had been waiting for a long time. She knew that the road was slippery in the rain, so she was "late". When we arrived downstairs in Sunshine City, where classmate Liu lived, there was no sunshine. Instead, we encountered a "heavy rain". The sky suddenly came and the rain poured down from between the tall buildings. Against the background of the car lights, it looked like a curtain of water from a waterfall.

Classmate Liu got in the car, put away his umbrella, and said anxiously: "It's raining so hard, what should I do?" I said: "As long as it doesn't rain heavily, it doesn't matter..." Even though it's raining heavily, it's still raining. During the evening rush hour, there were still so many cars, and at seven o'clock in the evening, the cars were still stranded on the Second Ring Road in the county.

It rains heavily, there are many cars, and there are dense red lights. I can’t move even if I want to, so I have to stop and go. I thought, this coincides with "getting ready to move", quite similar! Student Liu was in the passenger seat to help with the navigation, as he was afraid of taking the wrong road and taking detours. When he sees pedestrians blindly crossing the highway, he is more anxious than me and always reminds me to drive slowly. He also tentatively asked me what time is the latest I can drive at night? Every word was filled with warm concern, and it seemed to be telling me that tonight’s trip was particularly arduous and had a long way to go, so I shouldn’t take it lightly. Perhaps she was frightened by the heavy rain, or perhaps she was worried that her driving skills were not good enough, so Sister Fang chose to remain silent.

The car drove for more than an hour, as if half a century had passed. After a long wait, the two classmates in the car breathed a sigh of relief and were glad to have finally arrived at their destination.

Xiaoni, Amao, and Huang welcomed them warmly. It was a rare sight for the students to see each other. They hugged each other enthusiastically, asked about their welfare, and talked about everything. Over the decades, the image he created without forgetting his original intention has remained unchanged. When he was in college, he liked to read books on modern literature, and he read very quickly. He found that the books he brought to the liberal arts building were different every time. He often "walks alone", and I always have free imagination. Occasionally, we get together and chat.

What also surprised the students was that Amao changed his career and entered the financial system, while I was confused and went into the sea without knowing the depth.

Tonight everyone was chatting freely and the atmosphere was warm. The passionate worship scene recreated the scene of the debate in the college dormitory back then.

Tonight’s topic was more about finance and the stock market. Huang and Amao were having a lively conversation. As laymen, we listened with all our ears like ducks listening to thunder.
