It takes about a week to backfill the floor heating in winter, because it is very dry and cold in winter, and it is easy to freeze the concrete in winter. Frozen concrete is not easy to construct, and it is difficult to dry after the later construction.

Summer floor heating backfill

Normal floor heating backfill can be done in two or three days if it is summer, and it will be longer in winter, but it usually takes a week. If the weather is better in winter, it may only take about 5 days.

The backfill layer must reach a certain strength before paving the floor. In the process of waiting, it is necessary to sprinkle water on the backfilled ground to prevent the ground from cracking. The floor heating backfill needs to wait until the pipeline pressure test is qualified before backfilling. After the floor heating is laid, the premise of backfilling is that all pipes are installed in place and the pressure test is qualified. Only when these conditions are met can backfill be carried out.
