Prevent the body from overheating:

In summer, when the ambient temperature is high, the engine tends to overheat. Therefore, the inspection and maintenance of engine cooling system, including water tank, thermostat, water pump and fan, should be strengthened in summer, and cooling water should be filled in time. When the water temperature exceeds 100℃, stop in the shade to cool down, let the engine run at idle speed, and open the hood to facilitate heat dissipation. No antifreeze. Antifreeze is usually changed once every two years!

Prevent battery water shortage:

When the temperature is high in summer, the water in the battery electrolyte evaporates quickly, the liquid level drops quickly, and even the electrode plate is exposed under the liquid level, resulting in water shortage and early battery damage. Therefore, the liquid level in the battery should be regularly checked in summer, and distilled water should be replenished in time to ensure that the liquid level is normal and the battery is in good working condition.

Anti-braking failure:

Brake fluid is easy to evaporate in high temperature environment, forming air resistance in brake pipeline, and brake shoes are also easy to be ablated, resulting in brake failure. Therefore, the brake system should be checked and adjusted in time in summer, and the brakes should be stopped to dry on the way down the long slope to ensure good braking performance. If the brake hub is found to be hot, it should be stopped for cooling, but cold water should not be poured to prevent the brake hub from breaking.

Summer is the season when tires are prone to puncture. Hot weather can easily deform tires and reduce their tensile strength. As the tire itself, irregular air pressure, tire aging, weakened performance, or the tire rolling on hard metal or other hard objects during driving will all lead to tire puncture.

Therefore, it is necessary to properly reduce the tire pressure before driving, and check the tire temperature and tire pressure in time when resting on the road. If it is found that the tire temperature and tire pressure are too high, it is not allowed to deflate or pour cold water, but to stop in the shade; When wading, you should wait until the tire temperature is properly lowered before wading to prevent early tire damage.

To prevent poor lubrication:

When the temperature is high, the viscosity of engine oil decreases and the oxidation resistance becomes worse, resulting in poor lubrication. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the oil quantity and quality in summer, add or replace it in time, and clean the oil filter and radiator in time to ensure smooth oil passage and good heat dissipation, and try to avoid engine overload.

Protection against paint damage:

Although it looks lifeless, it is really afraid of the sun. Long-term exposure will make it old and wrinkled. Ordinary beauty waxing has some effect, but because any car wax contains silicon, it will rust the car paint after long-term ultraviolet irradiation, leaving small black spots. Moreover, car wax itself cannot enhance hardness and resist ultraviolet rays, and it will be lost quickly because of high temperature. Therefore, when parking, you should park your car in the shade.

Engine deflagration prevention;

The temperature is high in summer, and the daily maximum temperature is often above 35℃, which greatly increases the failure rate of the car itself and is prone to natural deflagration.
