Anshan city is located in the middle of Liaoning province, with the east longitude of 122 1'-123 13' and the north latitude of 4 27'-41 34'. The longest distance from north to south is 175km, and the widest distance from east to west is 133km. Anshan city is located at the southeast edge of Songliao Plain in mid-latitude, and belongs to the continental monsoon climate zone in warm temperate zone, with southerly winds in summer and northerly winds in winter.
