Experience of college students' hotel front desk internship

Until today, I finally finished my three-month internship at xx Hotel. It's really not easy. I think this is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. At school, I used to think that the internship was just a formality, and the leaders of the internship hotel would not be too embarrassed for us. It took me three months to know what is work, what is responsibility, what is independence and what is hard work ... These three months have touched me too much. I feel that these three months are more meaningful than the three years I spent in college and have taught me too much. I seem to have grown up since this time. This period is of great significance to me, and it will be an important indicator that will affect my future work attitude. Now let me talk about some of my experiences in this internship:

If you want me to describe the feeling of this internship, it is that an unknown ugly caterpillar successfully broke out of its cocoon and became a butterfly with bright wings, which can fly high in the future. This three-month internship is the process of my gradual cocoon breaking. My internship unit was arranged by the school, not found by myself. At first, I was very serious about my work. My internship in the hotel is the front desk of the company, followed by an elder sister. Because her surname is Tang, I usually call her Sister Tang. She has worked in the hotel for five years and has rich work experience. At first, she often looked for various opportunities to be lazy. For example, when she had a stomachache, she deliberately took a leave of absence to play during my period, or went to work to say that she needed to go to the toilet, so she hid in the toilet to play with her mobile phone. Later, because I left my job secretly, Sister Tang was criticized by the lobby manager. Later, I felt guilty about her. I didn't know how to make it up to her, so I tried. Under the influence of her professionalism, I gradually adapted to this job. As a matter of fact, I found that I was qualified for my job. I didn't try to find it too difficult before. It's really not a good habit to define something too early. Slowly, I began to ask Tang Jie about work.

By the third month, I had been able to finish all the work at the front desk independently. On the workbench, there is a book and a pen full of ink on the right side of the landline phone, ready to answer the customer's phone at any time, such as what the customer wants, and I can write it down conveniently. When a guest comes to check in, I can accurately tell him that the room on the floor is more in line with his requirements. Those rooms can see the night view and the whole picture of the city, those rooms can see the river and so on. The situation of the hotel room is clear and updated at any time to ensure that the reservation will not be repeated. This is a common mistake made by the internship front desk. Under the experience of Tang Jie, I have never made a mistake. My only regret about this internship is that I wasted the first month's working time and just wanted to escape from work. Fortunately, it ended successfully in the end. In my final internship evaluation, the hotel leaders gave me a high score and gave me a good evaluation.
