Celebrating Smelly Xi’an Travel Notes Part 2: Shaanxi Provincial Library, Art Museum
After coming out of Xingqing Palace Park, my mother and I were going to the Shaanxi Provincial Library and the Shaanxi Provincial Art Museum.
The first place we went to was the Shaanxi Provincial Library. There is a bronze statue in front of its door, which is the "Thinker" sculpted by the French art master Rodin.
As soon as I walked into the lobby on the first floor, I found that every corner was quiet.
There is a "reading booth" on the left side of the gate, where you can sing, read poetry, and enjoy your own voice being transmitted on the radio waves.
On the right side of the gate is an "elderly reading area", where many white-haired grandparents read.
The second floor is a children’s reading area. Many parents bring their children with water cups and read quietly.
There are also many "little volunteers" wearing "red armbands" who are also sitting or standing reading when sorting the books.
I am influenced by my surroundings and find books that I like to read from the rows of bookshelves.
After leaving the library, my mother and I went to the Shaanxi Provincial Museum of Fine Arts. It is adjacent to the Shaanxi Provincial Library and has a strong literary and artistic atmosphere.
From bottom to top, *** has three display areas: the first floor below is the photography display area, the first floor above the ground is the art display area, and the second floor is the calligraphy display area.
Let’s visit the first floor first. Each photo is equipped with an appropriate title. The painting that left the deepest impression on me was "Paradise", which depicts activities in a kindergarten, with fathers holding their children and competing.
Next, we visited the art exhibition area on the second floor. The paintings there are very grand and have different styles, including ink paintings and meticulous paintings.
One of my favorite paintings shows a few uncles in green military uniforms. They were holding a small boat with their hands during a flood. In the boat sat an aunt holding a baby, and next to her There was a doctor in a white coat holding an umbrella for them.
I felt very warm after seeing such a painting. My father pointed to the small characters next to it and told me softly that this painting was called "The Boat of Life".
The second floor is the calligraphy display area. The writing there is so beautiful, including oracle bone inscriptions, small seal script, running script and regular script...
I saw the civilization of the Xi'an people in the Shaanxi Provincial Library, and I saw them in the Shaanxi Art Museum effort.
I want to learn from them!
