Yongzheng Calligraphy Collected in Shenyang (Five Pieces)
This calligraphy is in silk, written in the fourth year of Yongzheng (AD 1726), and it is a poem compiled by Yong Zhengdi himself:
The moon hangs and shadows float, and the stream makes autumn sounds.
The sound of the stream is unintentional, and the shadow of the moon is like a curtain.
? -Yongzheng Wu Bing early autumn, singing the moonlight shadow creek sound.
Poetry is very tasty. Writing about scenery is full of fun. It's a bit like a painting in Yongzheng's "Let's have fun".
Yong Zhengdi is a standard workaholic: except for his birthday, he works 364 days a year, and is rated as "midnight snack, worrying about work at night", that is, he gets up before dawn and works until midnight. Yongzheng, who is out of government affairs, is a man with high artistic aesthetics. One of his hobbies in his spare time is to have court painters paint portraits of himself. Painting should show the situation that Yongzheng yearned for. This situation is expressed by someone else's hand, which is not as smooth as this handwritten poem.
This poem was included in Siyitang Collection by Yongzheng. The Four Overflows Hall in Yuanmingyuan is a place where Yin Zhen often rests. Siyi: There are flowers in spring, wind in summer, moon in autumn and snow in winter, so you can live comfortably. This poem should be in Autumn Moon, and it is appropriate to include it in the collection of Siyitang.
This calligraphy work has indeed been tempered for many years, and its kung fu is profound. From the perspective of style and pen, it seems that there are many imitations of Zhao Mengfu's works, but there is rigidity in softness, which can be said to be a needle hidden in cotton, reflecting his personality.
Run script explanation:

I am glad that the rock will last forever, and I praise the year of peace.
On the sixth day of December in Yongzheng, Xi Jianyi's first position was used by his younger brother.
Ji moved to give a favor.
When he was a teenager, Yong Zhengdi and his brothers received a strict court education. In addition to practicing the compulsory course "Mandarin Riding and Shooting" every day, he also reads "Four Books and Five Classics", studies poetry and prose, practices calligraphy and engages in artistic activities such as calligraphy creation. 13 and Yin Zhen had the best relationship in this process until they became one side. Later, Mei designed the Yin Zhen. Thirteen came out to stop the crime and was imprisoned by Emperor Kangxi for ten years. When I was in prison, I got sick and always coughed. After Yin Zhen proclaimed himself emperor, he received special attention, and was named Prince Yi, hereditary successor and iron hat king. From this poem, we can see that Yongzheng gave a great deal of gifts to the gifted prince Huang Anliang. Andrew is always earnest and earnest, talks about courtesy repeatedly, shows humility and respect everywhere, and never relies on his pet to show off his bravado, which not only reassures Yongzheng, but also makes others unable to comment.
Yongzheng's calligraphy is dignified and beautiful, plump and full, with a very refreshing pen, heavy stippling and natural structure. It can be seen that his calligraphy foundation is very good. The top right of the work is stamped with the seal of "due diligence".
The second of two poems dedicated to Prince Yi.
The origin of the Yi nationality lies in this branch, and the voice of sages is full of leaves. Heart hanging in the north, knowing loyalty and righteousness. The first gift is Donghua watch. It is forbidden to use Lianhui double-pedicled trees in the hospital and transplant perennial branches in the forest. Yongweitang has a bright structure and is suitable for Nanshan Fulu.
Prince Zeng Ciyi of Yongzheng presented the mansion outside the East Gate, the garden next to Yuanmingyuan, the tomb next to Tailing Mountain (unfortunately, thirteen were confiscated) and the treasure room behind hall of mental cultivation. It can be seen that the prince is good, and they are all called double-pedicle trees. Wangyi's word "righteousness" is based on the theory of "brotherly righteousness" in The Analects of Confucius, and together with Yong Yong, it means "brave and righteous". After wangyi's death, Yongzheng put his daily necessities in another room for collection, which may be shocking if they are not mixed with daily use.
Judging from the handwriting of Yongzheng calligraphy, it has profound skill and its own characteristics. Yongzheng's book style emphasizes self-entertainment rather than composition, with sharp and tough brushwork, fluent Mo Yun, flexibility and elegance. Reading between the lines, people can appreciate Yong Zhengdi's personality.

At the end of the year, Yong Zhengdi has the habit of presenting Spring Festival couplets with blessings. He once wrote a Spring Festival couplets for his favorite Zhang, "Full of spring and splendid civilization", and also wrote a red sticker for E Ertai, "Peace Day, Happy Spring Year after Year", as a New Year's greeting.
? On May 10th, five years ago, Yongzheng made such an instruction on E Ertai's memorial: "I silently wish God, the earth and the sacred elders and gods that I can live a long and happy life in E Ertai." . Yongzheng is a thoughtful person with high emotional intelligence and is good at dealing with interpersonal relationships. Although he is the head of a country, he can sometimes put down his airs and communicate with ministers and workers like friends. During his thirteen-year study career, a group of officials fell into his hands, and at the same time, he trained a group of officials with great talent and personality. I think these calligraphy works also played a great role in promoting the political cause in Yongzheng period.
This work is full of brushwork, ups and downs and full of vitality. Compared with the Hanlin calligrapher who works in the inner court, it is not inferior at all. I'm afraid only Yongzheng, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty, can achieve this goal in calligraphy. Right above the work is the seal of "the treasure of Yongzheng imperial pen".

? In the upper right corner of this work, there is a rectangular word introducing Zhu, and the seal is in three big characters: "Jun Nan"; "The difficulty of the monarch" comes from "The Analects of Confucius Lutz": "The difficulty of the monarch is not easy for the minister. Since we know that it is difficult to be a monarch, isn't it just a word to prosper the country? " Yong Zhengdi not only made the "monarch's difficulty" into a plaque, but also ordered people to carve many seals of "monarch's difficulty" on imperial books and ancient books and paintings, encouraging himself not to forget the responsibility of the emperor.
On the lower left, there are white seals of "Chao Gan Wen Ti" and bamboo seals of "Yong Han". The "remonstrance at dusk" in Zhouyi Gan refers to being diligent and cautious all day long.
Yong Zhengdi thought that "getting along with each other day and night" is a matter for people and kings, and only people deserve these four words, so he attached great importance to it. In February of the third year of Yongzheng (1725), Nian Gengyao came to the table and praised Yong Zhengdi's admonition of "Doing Things Every Day". But he mistook the words "do things in the morning and evening" for "do things in the morning at sunset". Yong Zhengdi was furious and said that Nian Gengyao "didn't want to blame me for doing things in the morning and evening". Yong Zhengdi once said with great confidence: "Because of the ancient emperors' way of governing the country, diligence was the first and idleness was the last, I dare not achieve the merits of the ancient sages, but this diligence and self-confidence can not be ignored in ancient religion, and I have not failed to live up to the deep gratitude entrusted by my emperors." He engraved on the seal "morning and evening admonition" and "conscientious", which is both self-encouragement and self-boasting.
Chen Han: The emperor's ink generally refers to the imperial edicts and letters written by the emperor himself.
There is a passage in the Chronicle of Shu Lin, which does not mention how Yongzheng's calligraphy is or the evaluation of the scholar's calligraphy, but indirectly shows that "seeing a scholar is quite proficient in the eight methods" and has already possessed the quality of the eight methods and the ability to evaluate calligraphy. His calligraphy has gone through a long primary stage of imitation, and has entered a mature stage when he ascended the throne. His calligraphy as a whole is fluent and skillful, generous and natural, elegant and vigorous, profound in strategy, extraordinary in style and magnificent, with the style that emperors want to override the powerful. At the same time, you can enjoy five Yongzheng calligraphy works in Shenyang Forbidden City. This is a rare opportunity. Come on!
