What scenic spots can I go to from Xi 'an to Dunhuang by train?

The train from Xi to Dunhuang has been opened. It will be very convenient if you choose this route to travel. Let's go with Bian Xiao to see which places are more suitable for visiting. The scenic spots in each city are different, but they are all very attractive.

The train from Xi 'an to Dunhuang will depart from Xi 'an North, pass Yangling South, Baoji South, Tianshui South, Qin 'an, Lanzhou West, Haidong, Xining, Datong West, Zhangye West, Linze South, Jiayuguan South and Yumen in turn, and finally reach Dunhuang. The train from Xi 'an to Urumqi also starts from Xi 'an North and stops at Baoji South, Tianshui South, Lanzhou West, Xining, Jiayuguan South, Liuyuan South, Hami and Turpan North, and the terminal is Urumqi. For the convenience of travel, Bian Xiao has selected the best sites of two routes to introduce to you. Keep up with the pace and start together ~

Xi'an

The starting station of the second train is Xi 'an, the ancient capital of the 13th dynasty in China, which has accumulated rich history and culture. When trying to read the historical narrative of this city, don't forget to enjoy the relaxing pleasures of life such as food and entertainment.

The world-famous Shaanxi History Museum is naturally the highlight of your trip to xi, but if you don't have a reservation, you might as well move back to the square. Xi 'an's rich history is also accumulated here, and you can also taste local specialties.

The simple word "back to the square" condenses the two highlights here. "Hui" ethnic halal food allows local people to satisfy their desires here. Mutton buns and iron barbecue make their index fingers move. Several mosques are traditional ancient buildings in China, and few of them survive in the ancient city walls. The chanting during worship creates a precious and clean world.

The street structure of "Fang" is considered to follow the Li Fang system of Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty thousands of years ago. You might as well leave the crowded tourist area and walk into a secluded alley to explore. When you have enough time, you can stroll back to the square and visit the mosque. There are also Buddhist temples, Taoist temples and Confucius Institutes. Switch your culture channel.

I came to Baoji from 0 10 to10/0, which not only covered the last section of Qinchuan in 800 miles, but also went back hundreds of years ago. Therefore, compared with Xi, Xianyang and Weinan in the east, Baoji in Kansai is more "quaint" in all aspects. Westerners' tastes are more traditional, and hot and sour snacks and wine have a simple but extreme pleasure.

In terms of folk customs, the clay sculpture, shadow play, social fire and temple fair in Xifu are also rather rustic. Even some cultural attractions in Baoji can be traced back to the ancient pre-Qin period and the bronze age. However, Baoji is still not a traditional tourist destination. Except Famen Temple and Taibai Mountain, most visitors to Baoji come from Xi and its surrounding areas. Because of this, Baoji may bring more surprises than you think.

Special suggestion

Baoji bronze museum. Baoji is the land of Zhou Xing, and an important part of the ritual made by Duke Zhou is to specify the specifications of various bronze ritual vessels. Therefore, many national treasures of the Bronze Age have been unearthed here, including Wanghu, Qiangpan and He Zun.

Baoji

Leaving Shaanxi, the train entered Gansu, and the first stop in Gansu was Tianshui. Today, people are used to equating Tianshui with Maijishan Grottoes. In fact, Tianshui, which was settled by the ancestors of Dadiwan 8,000 years ago, has been 2700 years since the city was built in the pre-Qin Dynasty, and the allusion of "Joining Jiang Wei" and "Lost Street Pavilion" in Zhuge Liang's Six Xiaqi Mountain, the final drama of The Three Kingdoms, is very interesting both in the urban area and in the surrounding counties.

As the spreading center of Buddhist culture in Longyou, Lashao Temple, Muti Temple and Gangu Xiangshan hidden behind Maiji Mountain are also very valuable. The ancient trees and buildings that can be seen everywhere in the city, the ancient legends about Fuxi, the ritual ceremonies that lasted for thousands of years, and the sounds of Xiqin dialect that you overheard are amazing. This city has never cut off its own history.

Don't miss

There is a small Maijishan post office next to the automatic ticket office of Maijishan Grottoes in sightseeing bus. The series of postcards (5 yuan/Zhang, including stamps) of Maijishan Grottoes sold here are very beautiful, and some of them are photos of special caves. The stamps sent here will be stamped with the memorial postmark of Mount McKee.

Tianshui

Moving on, we came to Lanzhou, a major town in the northwest. If you put a ruler horizontally on the map of China, Lanzhou will be impartial and centered. It is close to the vast western provinces. In ancient times, Chang 'an was on an important passage in and out of the western regions, so it was an important town of the natural Silk Road, which blocked the Central Plains and contacted the western regions.

As soon as the rushing Yellow River enters Lanzhou, it becomes gentle, just like the simple and rough appearance of the city is full of tenderness, and the Chili oil in beef noodles is just scary.

In Lanzhou, I felt more than the real scene. Visit the tourist sign "Riding a Swallow" in China, sit on the sheepskin raft "drifting with the current", taste a bowl of authentic beef noodles, and then go to the hot night market to have a good time.

Don't miss

The Mogao Grottoes is undoubtedly the most famous scenic spot in Gansu Province, but it is difficult for you to appreciate the details of murals and statues in meditation, regardless of the off-season tourist tide and dim light. Dunhuang Art Museum, located in Lanzhou Branch of Dunhuang Research Institute, refines the essence of Mogao Grottoes through digital multimedia and modern high-tech means, including the most classic murals and special grottoes that require extra money to visit. Most importantly, it's free.

Lanzhou

After leaving Lanzhou, the Mercedes-Benz train on Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway Line will briefly enter Qinghai. There is Xining, the largest city in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and the ancient Tang-Fan road through which the Southern Silk Road passes. In the competition and integration between nomadic people on the plateau and farming areas in the Central Plains, Xining has a good wish of "coming to the West in peace" and has also accepted religions and cultures from the East and the West.

Today's travelers come here, and they no longer need to travel long distances. Lan Xin bullet train arrives at dusk. After passing the Ta 'er Temple in the urban and suburban areas of Xining, you might as well go to Huangshui Valley in Haidong and feel the charming scenery and ethnic customs there. If you are lucky enough to join the local people who worship, pray, recite scriptures and make pilgrimages, it will be a journey that touches your soul even more.

Breakfast on the streets of Xining

When you come to Xining, don't worry about the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel. Get up early and eat in a street shop like a local. In addition to beef noodles, Xining people like to have breakfast with noodle soup and steamed buns, braised soup and white bread, mutton sausage noodles and mutton soup. Sweet and nutritious milk and egg paste is also a local feature. Although the environment of some small shops is worrying, they taste authentic and are affordable. You'd better go early, so as not to fan the air.

From 0 10 to 10, the train crossed Qilian Mountain and left Qinghai. The train came to the land of Gansu again. If the terminal of the train is Dunhuang, the first stop is Zhangye. After arriving in Zhangye, you may wish to set Danxia World Geopark in Zhangye as the first stop of your journey. It is very convenient to go to the Geopark by bus from Zhangye City. It only takes more than an hour to bid farewell to the city and attend a color feast.

Starting from colorful Danxia scenic spot, drive about 10 km to Sunan, and you will arrive at Binggou Danxia scenic spot. Although it is not as colorful as the colorful Danxia, the Danxia landform here is even more varied, adding a lot of grandeur and grandeur. Among them, the window lattice-shaped Gong Danxia is unique to Zhangye area.

Photography skills/techniques

Colorful Danxia is irresistible, and its brightest color appears at sunrise and sunset in Chu Qing after the rain. In addition to higher color saturation, lower color temperature will also add more warmth to red Danxia. If it snows in winter, you can still take beautiful pictures of colorful sunshine and the dark side of snowy areas after clearing up. Try to avoid taking pictures in direct sunlight at noon, because the proportion of light and dark is too large, and the photos will lose their rich layering. If the weather is bad, carrying a polarizer or a gray gradient lens can make up for the lack of the sky to the greatest extent, and you can shoot a rare "green" Danxia.

Xining

If your train doesn't stop at Zhangye and you don't want to miss the vast scenery of Hexi Corridor, you can consider making a short stop at Jiayuguan. Jiayuguan City on the Gobi Desert is full of desert. There is a broad vision of Qilian Xuefeng and a broad vision of pedestrians.

Jiayuguan is here to guard the westernmost end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. This young "highest place in the world" is well preserved and listed as a world cultural heritage. When you board Guancheng, the defense system of "open wall and hidden wall" will be clearly displayed in front of your eyes. If you are good enough, you can experience a walk along the Great Wall across the Hexi Corridor.

The Great Wall of Han Dynasty, which was built after Emperor Wu conquered the Western Regions, still remains in the western border of Dunhuang. In Shandan, the Hamming Great Wall extends nearly 200 kilometers in parallel. In this open-air Great Wall Museum, you can enjoy it by car all the way, or you can walk in and climb the beacon tower of the Han Dynasty, overlooking a pair of Hamming Great Walls separated by thousands of years.

Field activities

Jiayuguan's strong thermal updraft, wavy airflow and dynamic airflow are very conducive to gliding. Overlooking the whole Jiayuguan Pass from the air is also the best way to feel this ancient pass. Jiayuguan gliding club has outlets in Guancheng, Jiayuguan and the First Great Wall Hospital. It is open from May to 65438+ 10 every year, and the best season is July-August. There are two kinds of parachutes and delta wings (5-20 minutes, the price is 280- 1080 yuan/person), and you can also choose to take a hot air balloon tour (500-600 yuan/person, 40 minutes), two at a time. The whole process is guided and accompanied by a coach.

Zhangye

The terminal of Xi- Dunhuang line has arrived. As the entrance of Buddhism spreading to the east, the grottoes in Dunhuang area are the frontier of western regions and central plains art. These grottoes, which have a history of thousands of years, record the change of dynasties, the changes of people's aesthetics and beliefs, and even the history of China art that has never been left on paper.

The complete Dunhuang art is not limited to the Mogao Grottoes. The artistic peak of Yulin Grottoes made up for the lonely period after Xixia in Mogao Grottoes. The historical position of the Thousand Buddha Cave is equally important. Although the number of remains is not as good as that of Thousand Buddha Cave, the level is equivalent.

There is a saying that everyone in Dunhuang can get what they want: painting lovers can find the inheritance of China's ink painting, architectural lovers can restore the pavilions of the Tang Dynasty, fashion bloggers can find inspiration in costume makeup, and Duan Zishou discovered the secular life of the ancients with his brain hole.

From 0 10 to 10, the train for Urumqi continued to fly northward in China, and the first stop after entering Xinjiang was Hami. After arriving in Hami, I spent half a day looking at Muqam Heritage Center, Hami Wanghui Tomb and Hami Wanghuifu, all in the south of the city, not far apart. Go to Grand Cross Tourist Commercial Street, have dinner at Zhongshan Road Night Market opposite, and eat and drink like locals.

If you have enough time, you can rent a car and go to Hami the next day. First of all, you can cross the East Tianshan Mountains to the north and visit Hanqi Valley, Dabaishi and Mingsha Mountain all the way. On the way back, it is suggested to cross the East Tianshan Mountain along the old highway and overlook the pine forest, grassland, sand dunes and snow-capped mountains in the distance at the highest point. In the afternoon, head west to Hami ghost town and enjoy the wonders of nature in the Ya Dan landform group. Don't worry about the lack of time. The sunset in Xinjiang is 2 hours later than that in the mainland, and 8 pm is the best time to shoot the sunset in the ghost town.

Jiayuguan

Turpan is the penultimate stop of this trip. Flame Mountain and Grape Valley are famous scenic spots. Jiaohe ancient town and Gaochang ancient town are important sites on the Silk Road. These scenic spots can basically be completed in one day by car. Baizihe Street in the urban area is a famous food street in Turpan, where you can taste some local delicacies, such as bean noodles, saute spicy chicken and raisin pilaf.

/kloc-Turpan was one of the three major Buddhist centers in the western regions 0/4th century ago, and Jiaohe and Gaochang witnessed the rise and fall of the Silk Road. In the old city of Jiaohe, the maze-like alleys are connected in series with dense houses, official residences and Buddhist temple sites. Sometimes you have to go downstairs to see the basement.

Around Turpan

Baizixi Grottoes, Baizixi means "mountainside" in Uygur language, and the whole grottoes were dug on the mountainside of Flame Mountain. It used to be one of the most important and beautiful grottoes on the Silk Road.

Dunhuang

Urumqi terminal. After thousands of years of simplicity, Urumqi is now a modern international city in Central Asia. This is also a vibrant "mixed-race" city. Mosques with red walls and blue tiles, similar to palaces in the Han Dynasty, stand among tall buildings. The alley of Erdaoqiao is full of cheerful cries, as well as the smell of mutton and barbecue. International Grand Bazaar is crowded with tourists from home and abroad, choosing rich products from all over Asia and Europe.

There are not many scenic spots in and around the city, but the museum of the autonomous region with a large number of precious cultural relics of the Silk Road (currently under renovation), Erdaoqiao where ethnic minorities live together, various ethnic foods and several bars with good music can all make you feel the excitement of Urumqi.

Best scenic spot

Tianshan Tianchi is said to be Zhou Muwang's visit to Yaochi, the Queen Mother of the West, which is Tianshan Tianchi. This alpine lake is more than 1900 meters above sea level, leaning on the mountainside of Bogda Peak. Together with Bogda Peak, there are two peaks above 5000 meters above sea level, and three snow peaks are reflected in the green lake with beautiful scenery. Tianchi is a melting mountain with clear water. The scenery in summer is the most beautiful, with green grass, wild flowers everywhere and flocks of cattle and sheep by the lake. Kazakhs have been grazing here for generations. In winter, tourists are scarce, and Tianchi, covered with snow and frozen on the lake, seems isolated and more mysterious and quiet.
