When traveling to Japan, have you ever thought about staying in a temple for one night?

Many people will arrange to visit temples when they go to Japan, but have you ever thought about staying in temples for one night? The accommodation facilities in the temple are called "accommodation houses", which were originally only provided for monks to pay homage, but with the prosperity of in-depth tourism, many accommodation houses are now open to ordinary tourists. Facilities and services are as good as hotels, and the most special thing is that they are all monk services, which is an opportunity to experience Japanese culture!

As a super shrine master, since I have come to the long-awaited Koya Mountain, I certainly can't go out for a day. How can I not stay in the temple once? How to get to Koyasan? Please look at the world heritage. Koyasan, introduce express trains, cable cars, buses and practical tickets!

This time, what I want to share with you is the number 1 of the popular square fairy academy in Keya Mountain. The evaluation of Shenxian Hospital is as high as 9.2 points, ranking first among all accommodation houses in Koyasan!

Koyasan has more than 100 monasteries, of which more than 50 provide accommodation services. Many people may worry about how to book accommodation without knowing Japanese, so don't be surprised! I wanted to choose the Fairy Academy, except because it had a lot to do with the royal family. The tomb of Meifu Menyuan, the empress of the Emperor Bird Feather, was laid here, which is also the Bordet base of the Royal Mountain Palace. Plus, I saw a high evaluation on the Internet, and it was of course listed as the first choice.

Do you want to take this entrance? After getting off at Lianhua Station by bus, walk 1 or 2 minutes and you will see the stone tablet in the immobile courtyard. After passing through the long entrance, the building on the right is the place to stay.

Don't move to the temple affairs office. It is easy to recognize Kono Jun's signboard at the door. As soon as I entered the door, some monks aged about 5 or 60 came to meet me and went to the counter to check in. Perhaps it is because of the frequent reception of foreign guests, grandpa's English communication is completely fine. Later, I found that every monk's English is excellent, especially young people ~

At this time, the monks will also confirm the dinner time with us and whether to buy beer and other paid drinks. At about 5: 35, they will knock on the door in the room and take us to the restaurant. I'd like to remind you in particular that since dinner time starts at 6 o'clock, you need to check in before 5 o'clock ~ If you get off the plane and go up the mountain like us, you must seize the time. In addition, the accommodation fee is paid when checking out.

As soon as you enter the door, look to the right. On the right side of the passage is the bathhouse, and on the left is the library (restaurant) hall. There is free coffee and some sightseeing materials! After completing the formalities, the monk took our luggage belt and we went to the room. This time I booked a standard Japanese family room (15 stacks), and the cost per person was 16000 yen. Later, it was found that this was the largest standard room.

There are roughly two types of rooms, standard rooms and garden views, which are subdivided according to the size of the rooms. The price is calculated according to two people and one room, starting from 14000 yen, which is similar to the price of hot spring hotel, so it is considered as a relatively expensive accommodation. Among them, only the deluxe room "Jinsong Room" is equipped with cypress barrels and wind, and all others enjoy the bathhouse.

There is everything in the room, such as teapot, hot water kettle, heating, bathrobe, towel and so on. , as well as toilets and sinks, and a mini garden for beautification.

The deepest part of the immortal courtyard is this hall, which is dedicated to Ranasa, Harraca. Only residents or tourists attending related activities can enter, and it is usually not open to the public!

There is also the tomb of the Queen of Meifu Gate just mentioned. It's late autumn now, and there are still some maple leaves to see in Kea Mountain. At night, under the light, the flaming leaves are even more touching.

Dinner is enjoyed in a private box. I don't have much expectation for intensive cultivation. I don't think it's just tofu and vegetables? It may be a bit boring to eat, but this meal completely subverts my imagination!

Let's take a look at this gorgeous box first. It's really a foul ~ always wondering if I'm really in the temple? This is a high-end hot spring hotel! ! ! ! !

Only rooms with 12 and 15 stacks can enjoy the balcony. The dishes are too rich to be necessary. Make good use of seasonal ingredients and simple and diverse cooking methods. Every bite and every dish is not boring.

The main meal is this vegetable tempura with matcha salt, which is refreshing and not greasy. Koyasan Tofu is a signboard, and the entrance is dense. It is impossible to imagine that it is tofu. It is simply a disguised roast cloth bud! My personal favorite is the fried burdock on the moon plate, which is crispy and can't stop one bite after another.

The cooking methods of food are diverse, which makes vegetarian dishes super simple and full of surprises. You can also balance the taste buds with pickles such as cucumber and shredded radish from time to time, and finally finish with oolong noodles and sweet persimmon in clear soup. I really don't know what to say except surprise and satisfaction.

Not much each, but even boys will eat it all! The lights-out time of the mobile hospital is 9 pm. After a big meal, I will take a short rest and then go to the bathhouse to freshen up. Of course, the bed has been neglected.

The dressing room is decorated with wood as the base, and every place is clean. There are five shower heads and a big bathtub in the bathhouse. After washing, you can immediately soak in hot water to relax, and the fatigue of the journey will disappear. After taking a shower, put on a bathrobe and have a beer or drink. There is a vending machine in front of the bathhouse!

The advantage of living in a temple is that you feel at home here. Looking up is cultural wealth, and you can visit historical buildings such as academies. It's a pity that you don't have much time to appreciate QAQ carefully. Come again next time.

The most different activity of living in a temple is morning class. You can choose to participate or not without moving to the hospital. How can you say no when the opportunity is rare? The morning class starts at 7: 00 in the morning, and around 6: 55, the monk will knock on the door and take us to this hall. At this time, I discovered that the guests now are really all foreigners, only one Japanese.

The content of the morning class is chanting, such as the Heart Sutra, because I have tried chanting before, and I can still keep up with it. In addition, there is a ceremony of burning incense. Everyone took turns kneeling in front to burn incense. When it was the Japanese's turn, I vaguely heard a foreign women praising his graceful movements. On the whole, it was a fresh experience.

After the 40-minute morning class, go to the "Curry" of Antu Taoshan era architecture for breakfast. Curry is the former residence of monks. It has been designated as the designated cultural property of Wakayama County for hundreds of years and is currently used as a restaurant in Sufang.

Each room has its own seat, and the screen replaces the compartment to maintain privacy. In cold weather, staying in a heated place and enjoying a delicious breakfast is a simple happiness.

Breakfast also has simple dishes, and warm roasted tea is the best partner. Breakfast is mainly rice, with pickles, bean skin and other side dishes, as well as essential miso soup, seaweed can be accompanied with rice. What surprises me most is that there is also a small cup of freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice and sugar-free yogurt to ensure that you are full of energy after eating!

I'm still not satisfied with the experience of staying in the workshop for only one day. Clean accommodation environment, nutritious meals and meticulous care of monks all make people feel the ultimate hospitality from mobile hospitals. There is no boring work and meaningless communication in the mountains, only rich nature, profound historical and cultural heritage, pious atmosphere around, and of course, just the right human touch. I sincerely suggest that you must completely relax.
