The tourist camp of Everest Base Camp has been moved to the vicinity of Rongbu Temple. Everest base camp is more than 700 kilometers away from Lhasa, and the round trip is nearly 1500 kilometers. It is suggested to arrange the time in 3-4 days, and the route can basically be arranged like this.

Accommodation: There are youth tours and hotels in downtown Shigatse, and all major apps can be booked online. It is recommended to stay around Tashilhunpo Temple to facilitate the visit.

ID card The necessary documents for going out, remember to bring them. The postal service recommends bank cards, mainly the Agricultural Bank of China, because Lhasa Post has more withdrawal points. You need border cards to go to some border areas in Tibet, such as Mount Everest and Ali. You can apply for a border card at the location of the household registration book or in Lhasa. Of course, if you join a group to go to Everest, you don't need tourists to worry about it. The Tourist Association will take care of it.
