Reflections on the situation and policies of the "Belt and Road"

China Trade Center in Moscow, built by China Construction No.1 Bureau, is located in Moscow, the starting point of the Belt and Road Initiative in Europe and the core transit point of Asia-Europe connection. Upon completion, it will become the headquarters base, high-quality product exhibition center, trading center and information center for China enterprises to start businesses along the Belt and Road.

Liu Zhigang, project manager of Moscow China Trade Center, told the reporter that the construction period of the project is 28 months, of which 12 months is winter construction. The project has experienced severe weather such as winter, blizzard and strong wind since it was officially started in early May, 2065438. In particular, it suffered the coldest winter in Moscow since 125 years, and the lowest temperature reached MINUS 36℃.

In order to ensure the progress of the project, the construction workers of China Construction No.1 Bureau built a greenhouse with tarpaulins and thermal insulation quilts, and heated the greenhouse with heaters, which solved the problem of snow cleaning after steel bar binding, provided a suitable temperature for concrete maintenance and ensured the pouring quality.

Through winter construction measures such as building greenhouses, the project department has shortened the work schedule from 6.5 days to 7 days on the premise of ensuring quality. According to the Russian construction schedule, the first floor of an office building like Moscow China Trade Center will take at least 20 days. This speed shocked both Russian and local construction companies. China architecture has created "China speed" in Russia.

China Trade Center project is far ahead in Russian local construction field in terms of engineering quality and construction speed. In August of 20 17, this project, as the only China project recommended by Moscow State Building Supervision Committee, stood out among more than 1000 projects and won the first place in "20 17 Moscow Quality Engineering Award".

On September 26th, 20 17, the Moscow China Trade Center project was capped five days in advance. At the capping ceremony, Russian Ambassador to China AARON Li praised the project as China's business card on the Belt and Road Initiative, showing the strength and technology of China's engineering construction. The project has become a model of pragmatic cooperation between China and Russia.

Business counselor Li Jingyuan, Economic Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, said in an interview that Moscow China Trade Center is a landmark project of China enterprises in Russia, which has created "China Speed" and demonstrated the elegance of China's construction industry. The establishment of the center will attract more Russian enterprises to explore the market in China and actively participate in the "Belt and Road" construction.

In addition to the China Trade Center in Moscow under construction, China Construction No.1 Bureau has successfully built a number of classic buildings in Russia, such as the permanent exhibition hall of the Sixth Congress of China, the world's tallest reinforced concrete structure building-the Russian Federation Building, the Neva Commercial Center in Petersburg, the China Cultural Center in Moscow, and the Crystal Tiger Palace in Vladivostok.

China Construction No.1 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1953. It belongs to China Construction Group Co., Ltd. and is the first national construction team in New China.

Since 1983, China Construction No.1 Bureau has been closely following the national strategy and investment orientation, and has made great efforts to explore overseas markets such as Russia and Germany.
