Principle: It is caused by insufficient starting current. The starting current of HID needs about 8.5A (it will stabilize to about 3.5A after one to two minutes), while the current of the headlight circuit of the original car is designed to be 5.5A-6.5A, so the starting current will be insufficient, so only one set of HID lamps can get enough starting current, so it will be turned on and off, which will happen in some high-end models.

Solution:

1. Add a relay circuit to supply power directly from the battery.

2. Check whether the contact between the 12V input end of the ballast and the socket is loose. This situation will lead to insufficient power supply of HID due to vibration when the vehicle is driving.

3.HID lamp belongs to high-pressure gas discharge lamp, and high-voltage protection circuit is added in ballast. In case of abnormal situation, the ballast will automatically cut off the power supply to ensure the use and vehicle safety. After the abnormal situation is eliminated, the ballast will work normally again. If the problem is not solved, you can mail the ballast back to our company to readjust and check the reason.

8. Question: After installing a set of H4 telescopic lights, they will expand and contract when turned on.

Principle: The reason is that the ground wire (negative electrode) is poorly grounded, the wire plug is poorly contacted or the power input plug is inserted backwards.

Solution:

Plug the plug backwards to solve the problem.

Problem: After Passat installed the HID lamp, the CD sound will stop when changing the lamp. What is the reason?

Principle: The reason is that the pulse frequency generated by HID xenon headlights when starting is the same as that of the original vehicle main engine, which leads to the original vehicle main engine receiving the wrong signal, thus making the sound stop.

Solution:
