The responsibilities of the Maritime Bureau are as follows:

Under any of the following circumstances, which have a significant impact on maritime traffic safety, the maritime administrative agency shall, according to the specific circumstances, take corresponding traffic control measures such as suspension of navigation, speed limit or delineation of traffic control zones, and make an announcement to the public:

(1) Bad weather and sea conditions;

(2) Maritime hazards or maritime traffic accidents that affect navigation occur;

(3) Conducting military training, exercises or other related activities;

(four) to carry out large-scale underwater activities;

(5) The navigable density in a specific sea area is close to saturation;

(6) Other circumstances that have a great impact on maritime traffic safety. Ships shall not enter or cross the no-fly zone in violation of regulations;

When a ship enters or exits the ship reporting area, it shall report its position and dynamic information to the maritime administrative agency. It is forbidden to engage in farming, planting, fishing and other operations or activities that affect the safety of maritime traffic in the safe operation area and anchorage outside the port.
