On July 2, 2023, a rare snowfall occurred in Dahe Township, Sunan County, Gansu Province. The accumulated precipitation is 30mm, and the snow depth is 4-5cm. Overnight, Sunan grassland was covered with snow, and Sunan county was covered in silver. As early as July 2022, heavy snow fell in Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye, Gansu Province, and the tents set up by herders were also collapsed. The snow thickness was about 10 cm.
