Xushu Temple was founded in the first year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1796). In, Jianruiying Hall was built by Fu and later changed to a temple. In the 17th year of Jiaqing (A.D. 18 12), Ren Hai carved a statue of Xu Shu as a monument to the hometown of Xu Shu, the Korean garrison. The echoing rock faces south, with a depth of 1 1m, a width of 15m and a height of 10m. On the south side of the rock, across a river, there is a sharp mountain bag called Phoenix Terrace.
According to the pre-Qin literature, Bian He, a descendant of a stonemason, lived near Yuyin Rock more than 700 BC. When Bian He went to work in Shan Ye, a pair of phoenixes often landed on the Phoenix Terrace, sang three songs, or flew into Baopuziyan or flew north. It is said by people on the riverside that the phoenix never falls in a barren land, and my grandfather also talked about the types of stones and the characteristics of precious stones. So, he carefully observed the movement of Phoenix entering the cave, and finally found that Phoenix came to Qian Shan with cinnabar all the way to fill jade, so he chiseled a stone different from the surrounding area and brought it back to Grandpa, who exclaimed that it was a gem. The whole family discussed it and dedicated it to the royal family of Chu, which made Chu famous.
However, the first and second gifts were described as stubborn stones and his feet were cut off to deceive the king. The third jade offering touched King Chu Wen. He ordered the jade worker to cut the jade and name it to make it a zero (mausoleum) Yang Hou. Bian He refused, saying, I wish Baoyu would come out. This rare treasure, for thousands of years, has produced countless vivid stories in China that have attracted worldwide attention. For example, at the Chishan banquet, Zhang Yi was wronged, and Lin Xiangru returned it to Zhao intact, and Qin Shihuang regarded it as a national purpose, and so on.
