What's the climate like in Xiamen? What is the general temperature range in summer?

Xiamen belongs to a typical subtropical monsoon climate, with high temperature and rainy summer and mild and little rain in winter. Precipitation is concentrated in summer, and the average temperature is generally between 25-28℃. Because it is located in the subtropical zone, the temperature is higher than that in the temperate zone, and because it is located in the coastal zone, the temperature is relatively lower than that in Hubei, Hunan and other provinces. The annual precipitation is between 1 0,000-10,500mm, and the monthly minimum temperature is above zero. There is abundant rainfall, no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. The average annual temperature is around 20℃, and there is no frost all year round, and flowers and trees are flourishing.

Xiamen is often affected by disastrous weather such as sea fog, thunderstorm and typhoon: sea fog usually occurs in June 1 1 to June of the following year, with the most in March, dense fog usually occurs at midnight and in the morning, with poor visibility in March-May and the best visibility in July-10; Thunderstorms are the most frequent from May to August, often causing heavy rain; Typhoons are mostly concentrated in July-September, and are affected 5-6 times a year on average.
