Weather forecast: Is there a typhoon today?

According to the weather forecast, the typhoon will land today, so I have to stay at home.

It began to get dark, and the wind blew outside the window at eight or nine in the morning. As time went on, the wind became stronger and stronger, so that the branches rustled all the time. My family watched TV together from 12 in the morning until the power went out suddenly at 3 pm. Due to the strong wind, some branches were blown off. I have to go to bed early because of the power failure. When I was lying in bed, I could even hear the window ringing all the time because of the violent typhoon.

The typhoon had passed the next morning. Some people are cleaning the leaves and branches on the ground. Actually, I don't like typhoons at all.
