How is the sand blowing weather caused?

Sand-blowing weather is formed by the violent activities of large air currents that bring up dust on the surface of specific areas. Sand-blowing weather, cloudy sky and low visibility affect the visibility between 1 km and1km. It mostly occurs in April-May every year, mainly distributed in the western and northern regions of China, especially in Inner Mongolia, Tibet and Xinjiang.

Matters needing attention in sand blowing weather:

1. Avoid staying under billboards and trees. Under the strong wind, billboards or ancient trees with unstable foundations are easy to collapse or break, endangering the safety of pedestrians.

2. Close the doors and windows in time to reduce going out, especially for the elderly and children.

3. It is recommended to wear a mask for outdoor activities, and protect eyes, mouth and nose with wet towels and gauze towels to effectively reduce dust inhalation.

4. Ride less bicycles in windy weather, because riding a bicycle in a crosswind may be blown down by a strong wind, causing physical injury.

5. The sand blowing weather is dry and the indoor humidity is relatively low. Sprinkle water moderately to increase air humidity, or mop the floor to increase air humidity.
