Hanwang Town is a typical agricultural town and the granary of Ziyang County. The Taoist Zhenwu Temple on the top of the mountain was built in the sixth year of Qi tomorrow (AD 1626) and rebuilt in the twenty-fourth year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1884). It was called Xuantian Palace in ancient times and was divided into upper and lower halls. It is said that it was built by Hubei Wudang craftsmen, which not only inherits the great Wudang, but also creates according to local conditions.
Lower Hall: It is located on a narrow terrace more than 200 meters below the south side of the summit, facing north and south. The current building was rebuilt in the 24th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1844 AD). In 1980, the Shanxi direction was opened to the south.
Shangdian: built on the top of the mountain, also known as the Golden Summit. Its former site is small and close to the stone cliff at the top of the mountain. The current site was also rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The top was manually excavated into a platform of about 80 square meters, and the main hall, lottery room, printing room, earth temple, and money furnace were built. There was a stone railing on the cliff on the east side. The space between the main hall and the money furnace can accommodate 50-60 people.
In the west area (from Bierping to Huanglong Cave), the scenic spots include: Tuerping, Piantou Mountain, Yingzui Peak, Ma'anshan, Songlin Village, Xiaosonglin Village, Lanxin Stone, etc. There are a total of 49 large and small scenic spots (known ones) in the entire scenic area, which can be divided into 4 blocks according to their orientation, namely the East District, the West District, the South District and the North District. In the east area (from the lower hall of Zhenwu Temple to Lianhua Peak), scenic spots include: Longtou Peak, Wudong Manjia Mountain, Toad Rock, Tomb of Fashui Immortal, Hongya, Niujiao Village, Tianchi Mountain, Lianhua Peak, etc.
In the west area (from Bierping to Huanglong Cave), scenic spots include: Tuerping, Piantou Mountain, Yingzui Peak, Ma'anshan, Songlin Village, Xiaosonglin Village, Lanxin Stone, etc.
The scenic spots in the southern area (from Xiping to Songshuliang) include: Shuangfeng Cliff, Xiangdongzi Sandie Waterfall, Eighteen Arhats (also known as Sigou), Tougu Stone, Dishui Cliff, Erxian Cave, and Black Dragon Pool Waterfall. , pine beams, etc.
North District (Leigutai Peak and the area north of it), scenic spots include: Leigutai Peak, Immortal Cave, Zangshen Cave, Jiaoding Mountain, Danzao, Wangtian Turtle, Longwanggou Falls Group etc.
Leigutai Zhenwu Temple Fair has a long history and is called the Zhenwu Patriarch Association. The meeting period is from the first to the 15th day of the sixth lunar month and the first to the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, of which only the 15th day of the seventh lunar month is the celebration day of the temple (the local official meeting). In recent years, tens of thousands of pilgrims have visited the temple every year during the temple fair.
